I am going on vacation in july to sandbridge. Are there any crabs in the back bay? What are some good spots for MALE crab? Any help is appreciated.

You could try.  I was there last July and I caught a few but very few. The crabbing didn't seem that good in Back Bay because it is fresh water. It is technically brackish, but it is VERY fresh for brackish water. The few crabs I caught there were big rusty males.

If you have it, bring some fishing gear for the ocean side.  Last July there were massive dark schools of spot swimming by, and people with bloodworms were having a lot of luck.
