Not much water early,I even had to use the push pole to get through some areas.
 Results 92lbs.#1's  79lbs.females  57lbs.#2's  pulled 101 traps  set 4 days.

Really cool pics.. There's a show on discovery channel called axe man. They recover logs that have been under water for a long time. The river they work is called the suwannee river. Do you know anything about that? Wondering if its the same river in Florida you crab.

Nice haul joman, I was just curious what you use for bait? I have a few traps in wakulla county and have been experimenting with a bunch of different things: pigs feet, chicken backs, pork necks and even cat food. Many people have told me mullet but I haven't been able to get any and try it yet. I am averaging about 2-3 keeper sized crabs per week long soak. Thanks for any help ! Good luck with your next hau

Yes it is the same river. I think they are a good way up the river from the gulf.

I like to use herring or pogies but I don't think the bait would last for a week in warm water.I would try adding some mullet to them to see how that works out.

That's cool.. Thanks for the reply. I looked at the river on Google earth, i can see where you guys probably crab, near the mouth. Looks like it goes all the way to south Georgia.
