Coldest Water Temperature Crabbing Success?

What is the coldest water temperature you have had success crabbing at?
I've read various recommended water temperatures from this site and online but I am looking for personal experiences at the extreme. I am going to define "success" as six or more keepers or enough for a small meal.

I have done ok in mid 50's like it is right now here. I would say I have done the best 67 and up early in the season. In the fall 58 and up is not bad to. I think it depends on the weather as well for that week as when the wind blows from the east crabs won't pot as they will when the wind blows from the west. So if you have three days of 15 to 20 mph winds from the east you won't have as many crabs in the pots as you would on a normal day with no wind or winds from the west. I keep log books every year and the best was last year mid April I was doing two bushels of nice crabs the best I have done in 15 years of crabbing.

SALTDOG52, how would you define "ok" in the mid 50s?
Seanile, thanks and nice pic!

Great pic Bruce.
I'm talking November also, and 15 ft and greater, with water in low 50's. But remember that's surface temp., not on the bottom.
It would be nice to know what the temp is down on the bottom.
At that time of year, if at first I don't find them in the creeks, I head for deeper water inlets.
