Been a big fan of eating Blue crab all of my life (56) and
moved to Florida in 1998. Here's the rub, crab filled water
all around me and NO one who steams crabs and presents them
like we do in Maryland. A big waste of local resources.

I am out to change that!
Since I retired, I have plenty of time to school these folks
in that, crabs steamed in beer and JO is important, and that there
is a method to feasting on Blue crabs. Not boiling them and
drowning them in garlic butter! (ewww

)
So, from here on out I will be reporting on the style, presentation and
caliber of the West Coast of Florida Crab Houses I find and
hopefully start a rush to build some quality seafood joints
featuring Chesapeake style menus. Nothing beats a failure but a try!
