Corpus Christi Hot Spots

Hello, I'm just a recrational crabber in Baffin Bay, Texas.  But the crabs have not arrived in the bay yet.  They usually don't arrive until late April or early May.  I wanted to go to Corpus to do some crabbing but don't know exactly where to go.  There are so many spots in Corpus, I wouldn't know where to start.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks

You can catch crabs everywhere from baffin bay to corpus bay to neuces bay or copano bay.

The crabs are there all year, just not a lot this year.

They are also scattered. I heard people use to catch crabs along the ocean drive, next to multimillion dollar homes.

Kennedy causeway is a good spot except for that you need to watch your traps. There are a lot of boat traffic there. Pots got slolen often.

If you catch a crab now, it will be big and heavy. A lot of small crabs now. Next year will be great.

Do you have a boat? I've just started catching some and the Kennedy Ranch Shoreline.
