Yeah, I asked about that at the TFAC meeting Monday afternoon. Vilnit said that they were going to include hard crabs in the program. I then asked what percentage of the crabs sold would be required to be from MD. He said it hadn't been finalized yet, but that they were thinking 75%. I then stated that left 25% out of state crabs which the public would think were MD crabs. I think its about time something like this is done, I think they just need to work it out so that all the crabs certified are actually MD crabs.
