I need 50 pots. Never used the galvanized, i see they are cheaper  any experience with these good and bad?

they catch better then coated pots but don't last as long, thats the trade off you have to make with them.

If your around the swamps or very acidy waters, you won't get much more than a year and a half out of em...

Up here in NC they're not worth using....1 1/2 years and 3-4 zincs and they're rusted out....Not worth the couple dollars you save when they're new... Wink

thanks yall I guess I cant get away with being a Cheap [arse]. Genecrabman I miss the OBX but not picking those croakers in the winter.Its a toss up which draws more blood from me Croakers or Crabs, anyway thanks for the input ltr,
