Crabbing Report Hunting Island Pier SC 4/28/12

Hi,

Started from 9:45 till 5:00 pm with three traps with chicken necks. Caught three 6" ish and 17 hermits (they were all over). Only saw another crabbber and she caught a flounder. Others gave up and went home or changed to fishing instead. DP

April is kinda early in the year to catch much, but try drumsticks next time. I go crabbing there several times a year and they ALWAYS bite better on drumsticks.
