Decided to give it another shot at dc. Went with PINCHY.
A little cool in the am. Got to WAWA early and thermometer on pole said 28 deg. Got to ramp and suprisingly it was warmer until we started moving in boat. Tried couple of spots with not much success. was  nearing low tide. Reset traps and waited for incoming tide. Water temp was 55 and air warmed rapidly. Crabs ran steady on incoming for a few hours and ended day with just under a bu with 75 being the count. Mixed sizes with 5 in. being ave. Caught a nice 7.25 near end of day. Actually had 21 over 5.75.

How do we know you didn't get these last year? Or in MD? No offense, but that blurry photo of crab on newspaper looks photo-shopped.
