Can any of you guys let me know what is involved in leasing a license? for example is there any kind of paperwork to be filed with DNR..etc.

Yes, you have to go to DNR and do the transfer. It is not a big deal, pretty simple actually.

actually leasing is not legal but a temporary transfer is. wether money changes hands is something you may not want to broadcast

Im on a temporary transfer, we went to DNR, he gave his card license and i filled out the paperwork, we both signed and that was that. like the others have said, you cannot involve money with the transfer

It's my understanding, as of June 1, 2012 one can lease a license...

Any updates, can one lease a license or part of it? ie 300pots and still use unlimited trotline, not the temporary transfer but a lease for a specified period with $ involved. heard some things
