I Was watching a show on the "best sandwich on the east coast" and a place in Baltimore was in the top 5. The lady who makes the crab cakes uses Saltines broken up in her crab cakes..That sounds pretty good. anyone try that?

I've used ritz and club brand crackers. Panko also.  The crackers make a it really good.  Becareful though they are usually salty so you will need to alter your seasoning blend to make sure you don't over salt them.

O.T.C.® Oyster cracker
Granny's recipe. Put cracker's in brown lunch bag and have grandson roll to somewhat fine meal. I was the grandson but somehow always tasted better that way.

At the resteraunt I used medium panko and mixed  all the dry ingredients and all the wet separately then folded them together.  Won Best in Baltimore 3  times.  The panko absorb the wet and seem to disappear when cooked.
