I bought them rigged on four corners.  Hoe much drop line do you put on it.  Then a smAll buoy on the top. .  Thank you

Depends on depth you'll be crabbing in,too little and it'll sink and you ll lose it.Too much ,it just makes it harder to pull up

TIP:  Make sure your trap floats are large enough to float the trap.  Should the water depth be deeper than the amount of line you are using, you won't lose the trap.

I usually go 10-16 ft of line.  If I'm in shallower water i just make a loop somewhere in the line with a knot or zip tie to shorten it up. Sometimes i run into some deep water in the delware rivers.  And I'm usually crabbing in 6-10 feet of water

What Shack said....Here is what I did. Tied 25' on a float large enough to float my traps. I sliced the end a few inches to allow "shortening" and cinching up when done. I remove all floats and keep in a bag. 6 yrs and still ok Smiley
