I know the power plant area produces a lot of crabs but what about the rest of the bay?  Does anyone ever have good luck in some other north western creeks or northern bay?  Just wondering how spread out the crabs are.  Also how murky has the water been, I want to use my baited snood line instead of the straight line?

A buddy of mine has done real well in the Rehoboth bay in the channel starting at the Lewes canal,I've also seen people run lines in Herring Creek,as far as Indian river goes,I believe most people stick to the power plant area, but I've also been curious about the same thing.I know I've pulled up a lot of crabs while fishing closer to the Inlet, let me know if you try it

They are all over!!!!!!!!  Early season the water is warmer by power plant so many people are there now would be my guess.  Get away from the crowds.  Atleast that is what I have done and had good luck.

Thats good to know Shed,i've been going to the area for many years, and everyone swears by the power plant area,I think I'll check out some areas closer to the inlet,it's a shorter ride for me

I never claimed to be too bright, always zigging when I should be zagging,I usually do one or the other,I'm semi retired and have a lo of time to crab, and don't report every time I go out, last week I crabbed 4 days ,some in bay some in IR one in Md
