Started off around 730 am. Trotline was worthless, ran it a few times between checking my pots. After only one crab on the trotline I pulled it in and concentrated on the pots. Around 1230 decided its time to head on in, what you see in the picture is the end result. Cant complain for the first trip out of the season.

You cought that big smiling dog in your crab traps? Im glad Im not planning on running a trotline this weekend. Got my traps all ready to roll early Sunday morning. Headed to a creek in queen annes county also.

I'm definately not saying a trotline is not going to work at all. Just didnt work for me, this time. Looking forward to things getting into full swing and having that trotline produce numbers. Also had a horseshoe crab in a trap yesterday as well.
