Water temp 69 degrees. Running 30 topless traps in 10 foot of water with necks. Crabbed from 0700 - 1200. Caught 1 keeper and 3 horseshoe crabs. Wasn't expecting much up in the Wye this early, but it was a nice morning on the water. Alot of grass getting caught up in the traps.

Went over the weekend and the water temp. got up to 74. 30 traps did the best in 7 to 8 ft. of water. 2 dozens crabs! Never seen so many horeshoe crabs, turtles too. Water was not as clear as I thought it would be. Nothing at the mouth!

I bet you could park at the ramp with no trouble. This time last year I was crabbing in the Wye and doing OK. Called down yesterday and they said nothing going on. Maybe I'll try the end of next week after the warm spell. I'll make sure the trip is going to be worth it.

I post pics i take with my phone all the time. If your phone has internet you should be able to post pics. On my droid you select "Preview" then "choose file" At this point it should bring up you photo galley. Choose a pic, use your phone to crop the pic to the correct size then post. You have to crop the pic before you go online.

Thanks CW! I probally should invest in a digital camera especially when others have trouble believing someone can catch 24 crabs. Must gonna be a bad year!
