just got back from an afternoon crabbing with my girlfriend.  we spent a few hours behind the firehouse.  i managed to fill up a trash bag with old mono, styrofoam, nip bottles, you name it.  the place still looks a mess but a little better than when i got there, at least.  

the new net paid off; we managed to catch about 15 crab, all males.....11 keepers.  the biggest one was just under 6"

we had a great time and now i am getting ready to boil them up.  cannot wait to eat them!!

im not sure if there are any hunters on here but i felt like adding that i caught the crab today using the neck from this tom that i shot a couple weeks ago.  just an excuse to post the pic

I have picked up their [curd] for 60 years and my time is over........bring them plastic bags and take a little trash away or soon there will be no place were we are able to crab !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
