I read on here on a post that the braided mason line is much better to use for traps then the twisted......as it doesnt untwist at the ends like twisted. Went to Home Depot and they have the braided but only in bright yellow and hot pink......does the color matter? Should I find white instead or can I use the yellow....not sure if crabs are smart enough for it to matter....  |

I gave a newbie some BRIGHT yellow mason line today and he caught as many or few as anyone.

I have hot pink masons line on bout 6 of my traps they catch just as good as the white and black lines and it's lasted 5 years so far with no problems actually long then some of the stock lines that came with the foxy mates
