THEY"RE BACK!!!!!!!!!! Was the first of only 2 boat from chris marina 0500.Caught most all of the incoming.
hit my 3 favorite spots for incoming only.6 drop lines and 2 traps baited with chicken backs, went solo today.Wound up with 57 BEAUTIES ALL MALE ALL BIG RUSTY AND PACKED WITH MEAT.Bought some jo#1
and really did not like as much as old bay so I think im gonna mix the two.Stayed very close to channels in 6-7 foot of water. Many Many early drop offs.Wind kicked up 10.00 am So I called it quits.River was loades with bunker more than I have ever seen and not 1 jellie .Another beautiful day on the sink.Only seen 2 boats from RBM.

Nice job ! I just bought some J.O. #1 last week and gonna try it out soon . It seems a little coarser than old bay but they claim it sticks to the crabs better

I find that the dropoffs decline as the season progresses.  Traps might be better early in the season.  Otherwise it is usually all handlines for me in the 'sink.

does anyone know a place in the red bank area or farther north that sells the JO #1 ?  or do you guys just order it online?

I used to buy the J.O. spice and Uncle Freddie's Cajun Seasoning at Skipper's Seafood down in Barnegat, but I am never in that area these days.  Undecided

There are crabbing spots around AC, why drive up to Red Bank?
