6/2 at Point Lookout (Lake Conoy in Scotland, MD)

The water was a lot more turbulent than usual. I've been going to this place every weekend in the summer since 2009, and the water is usually so calm, but the tide was really rolling and it was really windy as well. Pretty sure it's because of the tropical storm. I was there from about 12:30 until 5 and I only caught about 20 keepers, using drumsticks on handlines. Others weren't doing any better than me. Lots of young crabs already mating. This time last year, I caught 40-50 within 4 hours, so this time was kind of disappointing, but I hope to do better this Saturday when I go again
