Headed towards the Narrows, set 600 ft of line and 20 traps with necks at starting time.  Moved half of the traps once.  Loaded boat and left ramp at 10:30 with a basket and 1/4. Crabs 5 1/2"-7 1/2".  Caught some jack-wads running my line after returning from checking our traps.........wasn't a pretty scene.

I hope this wasn't a sign of how this year is going to turn out with all the press reporting on the over abundance of crabs this year.

Wow!!  I know that people in Maine have been shot for pulling other people's lobster traps.  If I caught somebody running my line, to say it wouldn't be a "pretty scene" would be a severe understatement.

Wow! I thought it was bad when a comm and a couple recs were in my way when I was running my line Saturday. I assume they were trying to see what depth I was at. 2 out of the 3 times I was in a cove where they had to go outta their way to be there and was obvious there was no room for anyone else. I hope they didnt use my depth though cause it wasnt working to well for me.  Grin I don't know but I guess thats just part of the game. But I don't really know how I would react if I caught someone running my line, obviously disturbed.

I didn't have anything to write their number with, after all if I called the DNR I am sure it would have been a he said, he said.  They saw me coming towards them and they fipped the line off.

There was two guys, one was a older big fella wath a Hitler type mustache, the other guy looked like a converted Amish wearing a University of Virginia Tee.  I had my 8 year old nephew with me or I would have tore into those two douches.

WOW running your line I am honestly amazed I mean dropping on top of ya is one thing but messing with another mans property. Never been in that situation. Hope I never am. I do like the picture idea. I may use it on idiots dropping right on me. Than again I will stick to yelling and screaming like a mad man. J.K.  Good luck hope things get better

Should have picked up the tail buoy, tied it in a cleat, planned-out, and passed them to foul their prop, or rip off their line guide. Sure there would be a knot in the middle of your line, but hopefully you'd cause some damage !!!    Angry
