Has anyone tried crabbing the river in between steamboat landings and the inlet.  We used to do a fair amount of crabbing in there years ago, I am wondering if it is still worthwhile.  I'll be heading down this weekend with the kayak, and think I will try there or love creek.  Any thoughts would be appreciated.  Thanks.

I've not done it before. But I plan to hit it at somepoint this season. Not sure if its any good but they still promote crabbing from the campground at steamboat landing.

Good Luck and report back if you go.

If it's any good, I'll let you know, maybe we can meet up there later in the season.  I just hope the idiots that used to fly around on the river have learned to slow down around the turns.  It was bad enough in a small boat, now I will be out in a kayak, I hope they can see the flag.
