Not sure if these crabs were from MD but they were really mediocre. They were labeled as large for I think $70 something a dozen - might have been in the high 60s. Anyway out of the 12 - 2 were good, 6 were light, 4 were empty. Should have probably asked to have them replaced but my kids were going nuts. Awesome outside deck overlooking the marina and rock creek. Plus they serve the tiny cups for liquor drinks that were regularly priced. Im not saying I wouldnt go back, but I was excited for it to become something to use on the regular rotation. Its not there yet.

people dont understand alot of crabs in maryland are from the carolinas and lousiana. stores sells them as maryland crabs . they get them alot cheaper there . i know people that bring tractor trailers up here and to new york all the time . have you wondered how people had soft crabs when there wasnt any crabs here yet . live soft crabs and bushels on april 1st . you know the crabs arent from here . thats why so many commerical crabbers cant find markets . alot of them dont have a market after the last holiday .

I was at a local bar called fat boys crab shack with a few buddies having a beer. I noticed they were selling "fat boys" (7 inch crab) for 85 bucks a dozen . We laughed and kept buying 2 dollar beers
