Tough day in IR bay on Sat,set 1200 ft line with necks and 12 topless traps right in front of power plant,wind was terrible and so was crabbing ,9 keepers all day.Set out Sunday on Herring Creek with somewhat better results,30 topless traps with necks 22 keepers,at least wind was less and got some decent sized crabs.

The bite was slow up here in NJ as well. I wasn't out, but from those I spoke to.

When it shut off like this last August around my birthday, it was rough going for a couple of days, but then it turned on the third day. MagnumTRex and I were the beneficiaries on the third day.

if you guys want crabs from indian river bay try moving north a little and leave the power plant area. i have a total of 31 bushels for the year and havent posted since i went commercial....move toward the bridge a little further.

Thanks Anchor,I appreciate the info,I usually do go north,it was jam packed,we were lucky to get a spot.Where do you sell your crabs ?
