Dropped our line at 5am 1200' of chik necks and 5 small traps with necks. (son loves to pull traps)
dropped in 8-10' of water and traps in between shoreline and line. (crabman you know where I was)
walked away with a full bushel and had 3/4 of a bushel by 8:30
largest crab of the day was 8 1/4 and many were around 8 inches.... best catch of the year so far.
the crab was nice but the view at 5am was just amazing.......

I am surprised it didn't have my name on it. I am still writing my name with a silver sharpie on all the big paper shells before I put them back

I hate catching crabs like that.. Such a tease. You don't even need to pinch test, pretty crab tho.
