Hey Philly Crabbers:  Do these places still exist?  They both served crabs in a unique "broth" that while different, was pretty tastey.  I remember when Dinardos remodeled and filled the walls with "anique" fishing lures..

Still there,Chickys and petes has added locations including the stadiums,now they have crab fries,they've actually sued people for copying them.Dinardos I think is in 2 locations

We have a Place here on the Outer Banks Named Crabby Fries...........Chickie's and Pete's are suing them too...........The people never even heard of Chickie's and Pete's..........Guess they're a Big Business thats really sue happy....They'll sue any company who sells Ole Bay on their French fries....

Crazy isn't it,Gene ? Not like they created some complex recipe,all they did was put Old Bay on fries and called them crabby fries,only a Philly company could be that cocky .

Yeppers, Your Right...They want Crabby Fries to change their name,destroy all their named logo stuff such as shirts  mugs and other stuff, and ship all the destroyed merchandise to Pa....From what I hear C&P uses processed fries,at least the Place down here uses Fresh Cut Fries....The Dude from Chickies and Petes says he "INVENTED" the crab seasoned fries ......In the seventies I think.........What a piece of work... Wink

There used to be a Dinardo's crab house in Wilmington, DE, in the 60's and 70's.  My parents went there every Friday night.
