Maurice River runoff 6/28

The bite wasn't there today like it was last week. 30 crabs overall, most kept were 5"+ with a handful of good 6-7" crabs. It was a slow day, but the bugs and sun weren't too bad. Crab on.

Most were on the lower side of "6 to 7" however it was a strange day. The location is usually known for lots of throwbacks, instead, we didn't catch many at all, but the ones we did were almost all over 5.5". Went with a friend, he has all the pictures, hopefully I can get a hold of them.
Oh, and I'm totally guessing on the weight of that turtle. But it was too heavy to bring up with the net/line (it was bigger than the net anyway) and it was pretty unexpected as I've only ever seen little sea-turtle sort of things there before.
