IMO in the long run it is best just to put the money out for quality traps, like topless galvanized traps properly rigged.  30 of them properly rigged if you get a deal on them and rig them yourself will cost around 350.00 dollars.  I know thats alot of money but the quality, easy storage, easy baiting and unbaiting, etc. of these traps make it worth it too me.  I understand trying to save money and you already invested time in building your own.  Just something for others to consider and yourself in the future.

how much are you paying for Stainless Steel frames and how many did you buy or are you just playing "what if"

IMHO - buy bare traps and YOU do the rigging - usually I reinforce my bought traps

in my younger days, I built my own traps but it was a winter project, got free wire and something I wanted to do

good luck

Try Eastern Marine in DE.  They have a web site and I believe they will ship although that may negate and cost savings for you.
