I wanted to try trotlining with my kids. We saw it on you tube and it looks cool. I have a roll of 600ft roll of nylon 5/16 softlay (I think, seems soft anyway) its not locktite I know.  Will this work for slipknots too?  Thanks in advance.

One of my lines is 1/4 inch soft lay and have no problems at all. Actually kind of like it a little bettrer than my #5 loctite in some ways.
