Hit IRB this morning at 6:15 am with my brother-in-law and nephew.    As usual, we had thirty traps baited with necks.

Ran one of my usual lines and found lots of crabs, but many of them were throwbacks.    5:1 throwback ratio.   Averaged single digit keepers per run with a high run of 12.    Mixed crabs.   About 2/3 jimmies  and 1/3 large sooks.    A bunch of the males were in the 6" range, with the large crab being 6 3/4".     Ended at around 10:45 am with 3/4 of a bushel.

Greenheads on the water today.    Not many other crabbers out there until around 10 am.    Photos to follow.

I've got a niece who goes to Baylor in Waco.  Not a lot of crabs around there.
