I normally launch at Chris's Marina. Last time out, we returned at dead low tide. We had a bit of trouble getting back in. I will be going out with a friend on his pontoon boat soon, and he mentioned having serious difficulties with the ramp at Chris's in the past. Can anyone please point me out to another ramp we can launch out of? He said he tried to get into RBM one time, and the lot was too tight (20' pontoon boat). I thought that Oceanic marine may be a bit too far at 3 miles down and only a 9.9 pushing us. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately Randall,......your only other choice is the Rumson boat launch I don't believe Redbank or Fair Haven have any other Public Launches... Low tide is a poblem and after last years storm you will notice Chris's has only a few boats in if any because of damage and debris. The River is a mess in that area. Small boats can navigate but be cautious..... Rumson you need permit..... a 9.9 would make for an enjoyable trip up the river...... or crab by Oceanic Bridge. The later in the year it gets the better the crabbing.

Good Luck.

Thanks JT. I feared the same. I think if we get the boat off ok at Chris', we should be fine. It'll be full high on the trip in.
