i have crab'ed along time ago i had 100 traps an a 18 ft ex-wide flat an 85 on back we would catch 6 boxes of crabs and a good 100 busters i went out a few weeks ago and if we caught 5 crabs in a trap they was happy if i caught 5 crabs in my trap back in da day we moved 'Em 100 traps in da lake is only producing a couple 100 lbs. of crabs? 'Ur kidding me Right!! i still cant figure out why crabs in da bayou are kites and lake crabs are fat and full and bayou crabs are 3to1 to lake crabs sad but true and i did notice a lot of kites in da lake to i guess the crabs or not eating or there is less food for 'Em
