I will be down in Corpus Christi next Friday afternoon and wanted to know the better spots to go to catch some blue crab for dinner. I went some years ago but do not remember where we were. Any help would be great!

Thanks

You can try the piers in the bay, line and chicken necks or folder work ok. Should be getting better now that there has been some rain.

Marker 37 was really good two years ago. They would throw the fish intrails at the front of the area most people would fish. NOW who knows but my daughter and I will hit this area soon again. Last couple times it was really bad and caught only a couple.

Maybe this next time will be great. Snoopy's would throw out into the dock area water fish heads and stuff but don't know if you can crab there. Could see crabs everywhere near that area last year.

I'm originally a Maryland guy so know a lot about crabbing non commercially. I steam 'em when I get 'em! Enjoy the time out with my wife and daughter...no tv..pc. or texting at least not by me! LOL
