Got on the water about 6:30 AM and laid 1000 feet of trotline along with 8 traps.   After about two hours, only had about 10 keepers, but there were TONS of little crabs.    Spoke with some other crabbers in another boat ...... very nice couple ... forum member... rapp414 who gave us some GOOD advice as to a more productive location up close to the power plant.  Boy did that advice pan out.   We ran the trotline until about 2 or 2:30 before we decided to hang it up and came up with 3/4 of a bushel.   A really nice batch of crabs, with some really big ones.   It was really nice to encounter someone on the water who was willing to give us a heads up on a better spot.   We usually do the same.   All in all it was a great day on the water.   Thanks again to rapp414 for the info !!!
