This is my first post! If I am in the wrong section I appologize! Just a few questions...
I am going crabbing for the first time in the morning. I am just curious to see if you guys think tonights storms will effect my crabbing expierence tomorrow? I will be launching at Harbor Hospital in Baltimore and heading to Curtis Creek. Wondering around what depths if any I may get lucky at? Any and all help or tips is greatly appreciated!

Keep an eye out for storms in the AM. Other than that, forget Curtis Bay and head down to the PAX.

I was down at my shore house in middle river during the earlier storms and that water was chocolate milk. It had even ripped a bunch of seaweed up that was floating on the surface. Id expect the crabbing to be a little slow at least in that area for a couple days.

A bonus of the Curtis Creek crabs, you won't need to cook them, just cover the bushel basket with aluminum foil and they will cook themselves-

curtis creek makes the patapso river look like a pristine creek in Montana
don't get any water on a cut - it won't heal due to the chromic acid leaching into the water
Major findings of the report include:
•Industrial facilities discharged approximately 922,688 pounds of chemicals linked to cancer into the Curtis Creek in Maryland.
http://environmentmarylandcenter.org/news/mde/136-million-pounds-toxic-chemicals-dumped-maryland%E2%80%99s-waterways
ya know - crabs suck in that curtis creek water and when you cook them, that water comes out into the seasoning and over the crab under it
and cooking does not kill carcinogens or toxins
think about that
