I am heading to pick up my new jon boat tomorrow and my kids are dying to go out crabbing. I am in northern NJ and have a trailer. I am thinking of taking them out Monday to crab, any good suggestions on where to go that is in the south Amboy area? Also where I can launch the boat. I appreciate any feed back.  Smiley

Go to Red Bank.    Plenty of crabs in the Navesink.

You could go to Keyport and play around between 35 and the parkway if tide is right.....always a few small creeks that supply the crabs.  Or even closer to you is the morgan creek area on the south/west side of parkway launch over by the draw bridge.
