I have never pan fried these guys before, Only deep fried them.....The recipe looks quick and easy....Which is good as I am hungry and tired from last night's fishing........Sure beats a Mcmuffin........ Smiley

Some boats target them....The price of Squid anymore  Shocked Shocked Shocked Squid rig on a night trip when nothings biting works for me.

We have a hook and line commercial fishery for them up this way......every spring........

I saw a special on The Discovery Channel on the fishery.  Those were some impressive sized squid! Shocked Shocked

My mom had a great dish..Clean them ..make a bread crumb mix with crab meat....put inside ..close the top with a tooth pick ..and make a tomato sauce and put it in....MAN O MAN...put over linguine...........

Best calimari I ever had was at a local Thai restaurant. I prefer it not to feel/taste like rubber which a lot of places somehow prepare it that way.

They all cook it to long.....45 secs is all you need......
