i had two traps soaking in the marsh in freeport for 3 days.went this afternoon to check them.one trap had 3 the other had 5.most of the crabs were only around 4 to 6 inches.this sucks!

checked the traps again today 7/25/12 after a 2 day soak.one trap had 3 the other had 8.

Went out today to check my 2 traps after soaking for 2 days one trap had 2 the other trap had zero was not even worth driving down there for two crabs

today 08/02/2012 was a better day for me both traps had 5 crabs in it each! ten crabs total

I would put out as many as the state of Texas allows. 10 crabs is pretty good for 2 crab pots.

went out today friday afternoon and checked my traps. one trap had 8 crabs after only soaking for 1 day. there was 1 female crab in the trap.i left her in there.maybe monday when i go back to check the traps there are going to be alot more more. going to have a crab boil soon.i am getting too many crabs!
