If Tom's Cove is still there -  they have a fishing pier... Also a huge campground...

I don't know about shore fishing there, but if you can find a boat there are some really nice 30 to 60 foot channels out near the barrier islands ....real flounder water.  Have fished there many times. Grin

I have been wanting to go there also. I have a 14' Tin boat, would I be able to access these Flounder Holes safely?
I haven't camped since my Dad and I did,.. err,.. back in the mid 80's,..lol    Sounds like a fun way to torture the little lady for the weekend! Lol

yes...I have a 15' jon and have fished Chinc 3 or 4 times with no problem. try queen sound and four mouths...kinda a long run to both spots but I have also done really well right in front of Capt. Bobs over the years as well....If you really wanna catch fish...head a lil farther south to Wachapreague...you wont be disapointed Wink

just got back from down there. there is a boat ramp right before you go across the queen sound bridge alot of people park ther and fish of the rocks at the end of the lot. i see em catch alot of croakers a few flounder, and even an ocasional red drum. also there is a pier at the memorial park on east side drive, and ya dont even need a licence to fish there the town buys a license that covers the pier. the water is a little stained up in queens right now. they doin a lil work in the chanel right in front of capt bobs. thats what they are blamen it on.
