Coveside is probably one of the very few that can Guarantee 100% true Blue....Not many if any at all Picking Houses can do that...But if it makes folks feel all warm and fuzzy inside, I guess it's a good thing... Roll Eyes

No other state promotes Crabs the way Maryland does, but the "true blue" Label is very Misleading..and border line Lies....JMO

Don't you only have to prove 75% md crab usage to be "true blue"?

Which means I could buy 1/4 of my crabs from gene and still be true blue?

Interesting label on the  Pier 717 crabmeat can - it reads: "Fresh Crabs from the Orient"   Embarassed

True Blue?  I think not.

I know that the program is supposedly verifying that the meat is MD DNR certfied, but the True Blue label suggests that they are just true blue crabs.  VA has blue crabs.  So does NC.  So does China.  The label doesn't say anything about them being from MD.

And once the NC truck makes a stop in MD, evertything on the truck is MD "True Blue" crabs.  Roll Eyes

Is this true Geno? Roll Eyes
