The crabs are usually biting pretty good this time of year.  Plenty females.  Watch for egg carring females.  Grand Isle rodeo is this weekend.  Don't speed going thru Golden Meadow.  Revenue generation time.

i did very well this past sunday. dropped nets on the public pier and hauled in 8 dozen over 5 1/2" in about 3 hours.
