Made my annual trip with my cousin, her husband and kids. Water was dirty from the last nights storm and with outgoing tide the cards were not in our favor. Using our usual bunker and chicken backs in   traps and handlines we were able to struggle to get 3 dozen. Crabs were large. One jumbo male had to be but by himself as his huge right claw was biting other crabs in the bushel. He actually pulled a crabs claw right off. See pic of his huge claw. Crabs were meaty. Good crabbing to all

Really nice sized crabs.  Riverpop, you are getting too protective of that river.  Plenty of room for the whole forum to get out there.  I propose we all get out there this Wednesday so you can show us your hotspots, good neighbor that you are.

You must be really good.  I would not call 3 dozen a bad day.  Especially if they are larger.
