The Mrs. and I were the first boat out and rowed with the outgoing to the inside of the channel basically midway between the Front St bridge and the RR bridge. The bite was on immediately until just b/f dead low at 10AM approx. In 3 hours we had 30 +/- very nice crabs. We had a full size run.....5's up to 6.5....anything less then 5 was released as were all females......we ended up with 41 and really  earned those last 11!! We culled a TON of 4.5's and MANY smaller...I couldn't tell what the ratio was...but it seemed like a million to 1  Shocked  End of August should be something to mark on ones calendar IMO. Chicken backs was the bait of the day. We left at 2PM, and we were pretty shot! it was a great day on the water!  Grin
