Well, I got dragged to cape may for a week for a wedding....surfing sucks, not much to do, drove around every marina about 5 times looking at boats.

Anyway, last night we went to The Lobster House.  The wait was 1.5hrs, so we went back to the house.  The pager started going nuts because it was out of range so I tossed it into the back of the truck and it just happend to land into a bucket of water that was in the bed....story of my life.  So we go back to the resturant and told them we dropped it in a puddle, since it had just rained, they laughed and said it happened all the time.

Finally we got seated.  Awesome view of the harbor and a cool array of decoys and decorations.  Food was kinda expensive but if its coming from the draggers right in the harbor, I was glad to pay for it.  I decided to get a lobster and my girfriend got some platter with pasta lobster tails scallops and shrimp.  The food was spectacular and well worth the wait.  Their crab legs were a little over 40 bucks which i thought was high.  They had soft crabs, flounder, swordfish, tilefish, salmon and all other kinds of seafood.

We both ate for about 55 bucks.  I highly recommend this place...only thing is, they don't take reservations so get there around 8:30 when it dies down.

Food is great there.    It's a "must stop" place in Cape May.

I agree, Lobster House has great food & a great atmosphere.

Not much to do?  Beach, lighthouse, boardwalk in Wildwood, great bars in CM many with live music.  What were you looking for?

Service was a 7 out of 10.

I'm not much of a beach/vacation type.
