Hey if it's ok with everybody on this board, what the [Sam Hill]. prety blatant.

The idea is to catch them selling. Then it isn't an $82.50 fine. The feds get involved. $5000 fine gets involved. 5 years in jail gets involved. Wink

Them is anybody who carries wildlife (IE crabs) across a state line and profits from it, without a commercial license.

Trade or sell a bushel of crabs, you caught in the Chesapeake Bay, in another state for anything, any service. You are in violation of federal law.

Carry crabs across a state line that were illegally caught in Maryland. Violation of federal law.

I am guilty of linking 3 pieces of video together and posting it in youtube. I see nothing in those videos which is illegal to post.

As far the origin of those crabs I have no idea where they came from, or even where the video was shot.

I have brought no dog to this fight and tried to damper it with a peace offering.  However would a ring master not follow his own advice.

Doesn't have to be stolen , lost tile with unknown original owner,or can't find orig. onwer, ect. to much red tape to title a boat in md without a title and it doesn't have to be stolen. Why do you assume? Sorry capt. frank now i understand -NJ.

Maybe he just found it to be too much RED TAPE!

Wanna stay on topic...This was a post about a video of a shedding female while doubled up.  Where the heck did this come from, selling crabs?  Just because YOUR paranoid, doesn't mean everyone is out to get you.

I was wondering that same thing. It went from "not stopping all the way at a stop sign" to a full on bank robbery.

So, once again we have expanded sluffing a softcrab (which could be caught legally in several states or purchased from every bait and tackle shop) to taking 3 times the legal limit of Bass.  Too much time on our hands?
