I'm heading down to Bethany Beach this weekend and would love to take my younger brother crabbing.  I used to go with my dad and grandfather many years ago but I cant remember where we used to go.  Where are some places we could try from land?  Are we better off trying to rent a boat?  Again, any ideas where we could go either on land or with a boat would be appreciated, Thanks.

As a side note, where can we rent boats from? (we might have even went down to ocean city to rent)

thanks rapp 414.  do you tend to have better luck when you crab with a boat versus when you crab off a pier of bridge or shore?  what are the crab biting on for bait this time of year?

I never crab from Piers,I've seen some good reports on them,my kids prefer handlining from the boat, they think it's more fun, crabbing's been slow even off of boats,so may not want to waste the money.Chicken necks for bait is best
