Hit the water Saturday with wife and son for a quick crabbing trip. I didn't want to be out long so i figured i would stick close to home.  I wasnt expecting tomcatch many or big ones.  Boy was I wrong.  New personal bests for size and numbers. One 6.75 incher and about a dozen or so over 6. Caught 80-90 in all with 57 keepers. Most were about 5- 6 inches. Caught one dobler a few females and not too many real shorts(2-3 inchers) maybe a dozen or show.

Also saw what i beleive was 3 Bald Eagles. Good size to them with white heads.

I was using 20 traps. 50/50 toples and topped.  The fully enclosed seemed to do better but it may have just been location. I've spent most of time this season down on the missipillion with a some luck this was my first time up this way so not sure which are would be better

Living in Milford,I don't get up to Little Creek often. Not sure how many bridges lead into the town.I'm asuming you were in a boat, wonder how the crabbing from the bridges would be.

Yeah i was in a boat. Quite breezey out there that day too.  I've never crabbed the bridges before but it is done quite often.  Probably starting to heat up at this point in the season
