WHEN THE CHICKEN NECK DROPS, THE BS STOPS

« on: August 08, 2012, 11:37:57 PM »

Ran down to the old grounds Tuesday. Seems like that's the only area near S. Jersey that's producing flounder on a regular basis.

9 keepers up to 24", loads of throwbacks.   30+ mile run from Port Norris, but it was worth the trip.

Never heard of an Angel Shark until yesterday, my partner pulled one up to the boat after about a 10 minute tussle, it had an attitude, so it was cut loose and released without an attempt to net or gaff it. It was about 4' long.

No photos - I was shooting video up to the time of release. Bummer, I would have liked to have had some images of that mug. Nasty.

If it takes a chicken and a half a day and a half to lay an egg and a half, how long would it take for a squirrel with a wodden leg to kick the seeds out of a dill pickle? Think about it, or not.
