Not sure where to post this I'll put it here.  Mods move as necessary.  I have no affiliation with this guy.

I hate buying crabs and when I do I usually get them live so I can steam them myself because I am picky on how they are steamed.

Today, due to predicted storms, I had to buy a bushel.  I got them on Rt. 40 between Northeast and Elkton from Dan.  He is in a red building on the left side of the road with a giant crab out front just after the bridge.

155/bushel steamed.  Crabs were VERY full and spice was great.  Decent size crabs too with most over 6".  He shocked them before cooking so all claws were in place.

He said he gets them from Crisfield.  He also had clams, picked crabmeat, Yellowfin Tuna, rockfish, and a bunch of other stuff.

Just wanting to pass this on as I have trouble when purchasing retail and looking for a good deal.

Dan, those crabs were great.  Honestly, I am pretty picky and they passed my test.  It would have taken me 8 hours on a good day to cull a bushel of that quality.  BTW, I was the guy that came in on Friday and got the bushel steamed at 2pm along with some clams.  You WILL see me again.
