Headed to the wye next weekend.  I'm sick of dry runs on the Bush and Back rivers and taking home less than 2 doz. crabs for a whole days work.  I'm now convinced to drive farther for the good crabbin.  Does anyone have any advice for the wye and what type of crowd will I run into?

I just heard from a reliable source.....the Wye has officially been crabbed out....due to the overabundance of crabs caught in the Wye river DNR of Maryland have elected to end the season early on the Wye river. This is very unfortunate for everyone that was plannig on attending next Saturday  Wink Grin Grin Wink

I love how everyone likes to point me in another direction but if you tell me to go somewhere else doubt that will happen, I bet even a crappy day on the wye beats a great day on the bush.  And don't forget I'm used to dissapointment.
