Hey SW, you really did a nice job cleaning that baby up, can you wash my truck while you are there. laugh

I'll take that as a compliment.  Take a ticket for washing the truck.  I'm on #34 and you are... 32,345.  But keep waiting, it'll be worth it!

Give it a try, takes practice though.  Drop an anchor( 12 to 25 pounds) and float , drive a straight line, pay out the line, keep it snug, but not too tight.  Put baits about 3 to 5 feet apart, depending how fast you are!

Thanks alot Seaweed! I think I'll do that this Sat. since I've already got a line set up with floats and anchors, even have a rig for the boat. Just haven't been sure enough how to work it. I guess I'll just retrieve it at the end of the day manually since I don't have a wheel rigged up yet. I think I'll still take the traps to be on the safe side though. I appreciate the advice.

Let us know how you do.  Do some research in the trotlining section of this website.  Just pull it in by hand, with the boat idling along the line, and coil it in a basket or tub.

We should be able to lose at least 0.5 pounds per cracked window, or rear truck window.  Not to mention any unlocked truck tool boxes.  And thats 20 satisfied yankee customers! laugh laugh laugh
